Race #2 of the Triple Crown 5K Series. Moderately hilly and fun! Winds through suburban roads and ends at Edward Little High School.
Emily Fletcher grew up in Auburn and attended Edward Little High School. She was a standout runner in cross-country and track. In December 2004, at age 21, Emily’s life was tragically taken in a car accident.
In her memory and spirit, the Emily Fletcher Memorial 5K (Emily’s Run) was established to both celebrate her life and raise funds for two college scholarships in her name as well as donations to the Auburn Public Library, the Auburn Nordic Ski Association, the Stanton Bird Club, New Beginnings, Tree Street Youth, and the Androscoggin Land Trust.

Race #3 in the Triple Crown 5K Series. USATF Certified #ME17005JK. Moderately flat over many bridges including a railroad pedestrian bridge. The race runs along the Androscoggin River and crosses both Lewiston and Auburn.
The Bridge Run Foundation encourages and supports active outdoor experiences for area youth to promote health and well-being. The beneficiaries of this foundation are students from Lewiston and Auburn middle schools as well as the Boys and Girls Club. We sponsor two children from each for a week-long summer camp. We also pay for all Triple Crown registrants 14 and under.
